Join us for a unique linocut workshop led by Belarusian artist Alena Semeniuk, during which we will create our own paintings inspired by traditional Belarusian ornaments. Belarusian ornament has been used to decorate textiles, woodwork, ceramics and other everyday objects for centuries. They are characterized by geometric patterns, stylized flowers and plants, and zoomorphic elements.
During the workshop, participants will learn the basics of the linocut technique and learn to create their own compositions inspired by Belarusian ornaments. We will provide all the materials needed for participation in the workshop.
We speak Polish, Belarusian, Russian and English. Participation in the meeting is free of charge.
