The "Flying University of Human Rights" was created for activists, clerks, teachers and academic students. The most seasoned experts, that is, both the most influential scientists and practitioners, will share their knowledge about how to implement human rights locally, how to identify human rights violation and how to react to it, and how to disseminate knowledge about human rights.
The Flying University of Human Rights was established by the European Solidarity Centre in partnership with the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights and the Homo Faber Association.

/ Anna Alboth – a journalist and activist, has been involved in migration activities, among others, in the Civil March For Aleppo (nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize 2017), for many years
/ Prof. Adam Bodnar – a lawyer, university lecturer and ombudsman (2015-2021)
/ Anna Dąbrowska – a philologist and the president of the Homo Faber Association
/ Prof. Ewa Łętowska – a lawyer, specialist in civil, constitutional and administrative law and human rights, and member of the Polish Academy of Sciences
/ Maciej Nowicki – the president of the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights, originator and project manager of the International Film Festival WATCH DOCS – the biggest project of the HFHR popularising human rights
/ Piotr Skrzypczak – a political scientist, co-founder and board member of the Homo Faber Association
/ Danuta Przywara – a sociologist, social activist, former president of the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights
/ Marta Siciarek – a coordinator of migration and integration at the Marshal’s Office in Gdańsk
/ Dr Anna Strzałkowska – a psychologist, university lecturer and LGBT+ rights activist

BASIC PRINCIPLES
/ The organisers cover the cost of the classes. The participants have to pay for the transport, accommodation and food themselves.
